Marijuana, the most commonly used illegal drug in America. The weed is a species of the Cannabis plant, Marijuana has flowering buds with a high content of THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol) the stuff that makes you feel “high”. An estimated 22 million pounds of Marijuana is grown each year in the United States and nearly 80% comes from California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Hawaii and Washington.
